Massage

Massage is an age old therapy that brings about feelings of wellbeing. Physically, it releases tension from muscles, enhances blood circulation and lymphatic flow. Manipulation of the soft tissue eases stress and creates warmth facilitating the flow of more oxygen and nutrients to the area. It can trigger deep relaxation allowing the body and its systems to slow down and recuperate.

Psychologically, it enables the body to feel positive and pleasurable, promoting a healthy self image.

It encourages the mind to rest and recover from mental fatigue.

Various techniques can be used to provide massage ranging from a gentle float-away treatment to a deep tissue massage focusing on problematic areas.

We are aware at Feelgood Focus that as individuals, our mental, physical and emotional health fluctuates. We encourage feedback from our clients to enable us to adapt accordingly. At times, a deep vigorous energising massage may be suitable, but if feeling a little fragile, a more soothing massage would benefit.
